I remember one summer in my mis-spent youth when some friends and I took a Super 8 film camera and a model of one of the spaceships from Space:1999 and did some stop motion stuff. It all ended in tragedy when an old lady ran over the model while it was "racing" across a parking lot. Man, those were the days.
