I have to say, despite the website itself, and despite snopes.com telling this is true - I'm still skeptical.

Apparently each piece is made by hand.

...and it takes him three months to make each one. Makes me wonder why he chooses such tacky subjects - Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, a golfer - I was half expecting to see a rosy-cheeked child with a tear in its eye and a cute puppy on its lap.

You don't need to be skeptical - while I haven't seen this particular artist, I've seen* similar works by others. But the genre does leave me kind of cold.

* Well, okay, squinted at through a microscope.
